After a series of weather related delays… 5 of them to be exact… SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Sunday at 8:18pm from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station….
Last evening’s launch was the 40th launch so far this year from the Space Coast. The rocket took another 54 Starlink satellites into low earth orbit, where they join around 3,200 others who are already circling the earth. About 8 minutes after liftoff, the first stage made another perfect landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, and it is now on its way back to Port Canaveral for refurbishment and reuse.
