After yesterday’s successful crewed launch from Kennedy Space Center, SpaceX is busy today at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, getting ready for the third rocket launch from here on the Space Coast this week. A previously flown Falcon 9 rocket will take two commercial communications satellites into orbit. Liftoff from Launch Complex 40 is set for 7:07pm and forecasters say the weather should be near perfect. Minutes after liftoff tonight, the Falcon 9’s first stage will attempt another successful landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
