3 Women Arrested After Wild Heist At Walmart

3 women are now behind bars after police say they walked out of Walmart in Sebastian with nearly $3,000 in merchandise they never paid for. Police arrested 51 year old Cherrie Robinson of Florida City; 32 year old Shanana Richardson of Miami; and 30 year old Charmine Calhoun of Homestead after officers found their car filled to the roof with items still in the original store packaging. Police say the vehicle was so full, there was no room for a flat-screen TV, so the women placed it on the roof and held onto it as they drove away on US-1. When an officer pulled them over, Robinson had an infant in her lap. When asked why there was no child restraint system in the car, Robinson told the officer they had to remove it because there was no room in the vehicle for it. DCF was called in, and they took custody of the child. The three women are all now in the Indian River County Jail. They each are being held on $50,000 bond.
