Governor Ron DeSantis will be in Brevard County today as part of his ‘Don’t Tread on Florida’ tour, which covers 13 counties in about 4 days. The governor will be at the American Muscle Car Museum on Sarno Road in Melbourne this afternoon. Doors will open at 3:15 and the program will begin at about 5:15. Melbourne Mayor Paul Alfrey expects at least 2,000 people to show up to meet the governor and First Lady Casey DeSantis, along with others including Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez, Attorney General Ashley Moody, CFO Jimmy Patronis, and Agriculture Commissioner candidate Wilton Simpson. Other local and statewide officials will also be on hand. There will be entertainment by Parker McCollum, last year’s ACM winner for New Artist Of The Year and current CMA New Artist Of The Year.
