Artemis I Headed Back To Launch Pad Ahead Of Upcoming Moon Mission

We are on track now to hit the big 50 mark… 50 launches from the Space Coast before the end of the year. Launch activity here in Florida has not been as intense as this since the early days of the space program… about 70 years ago! Right now, NASA is continuing to prepare the Artemis I rocket for it’s inaugural trip to the moon and back, and crews early this morning, began rolling the massive rocket back out of the vehicle assembly building to launch pad 39B. This time, the 322-foot tall rocket is scheduled to launch no earlier than 12:07am on Monday, November 14. Artemis I will not include astronauts, but if all goes as planned, Artemis II will, and that will be followed by a moon landing on Artemis III.
