Restaurant Employee Arrested

When he was told he couldn’t go home early, a worker at a Wendy’s Restaurant in Palm Bay didn’t take the news very well. Police were called after 22 year old Carlos Morales of Palm Bay caused a disturbance and damaged equipment at the fast food place on Palm Bay Road. Apparently, Morales became upset because the manager wouldn’t allow him to leave early, so he argued with his supervisor until he was told to clock out and leave. That made him more upset, so before he walked out, he went into the office and began to dump liquids on the computers and he smashed computer screens, then tossed one computer into the kitchen area, where it smashed into pieces. According to the manager, that computer operated all the terminals in the restaurant, and was valued at around $8,000. Police later arrested him at his home, where he confessed to everything. Morales is now facing felony charges. He was locked up in the Brevard County Jail with bond set at $2,000.
