A Brevard County man has been indicted by a grand jury on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder in connection with his girlfriend’s shooting death. 23-year-old Carlos Jones II of Melbourne according to police, repeatedly shot his estranged girlfriend… 23 year old Sha’Dayla Johnson… in the back after she refused to answer his calls and texts. Johnson was killed in the December 20th incident that happened in Melbourne. Jones is being held in the Brevard County Jail without bond as prosecutors next will decide whether or not to pursue the death penalty against him.
