The acting Brevard County Supervisor of Elections wants the job permanently. On Thursday, Tim Bobanic declared his candidacy to run for Supervisor of Elections in 2024. Bobanic was sworn in as Brevard County Supervisor of Elections last October to fill the position that was vacated when former Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott resigned. Bobanic served as the Director of Information Technology and Election Services with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections for more than nine years before assuming his current duties. He previously served for four years as the Director of Information Technology for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections.
