A Palm Bay Council Member has been arrested and is now facing charges including DUI and cocaine possession. Pete Filiberto was taken into custody Saturday night by officers on Lipscomb Street in Palm Bay. Police say he was riding his motorcycle while impaired and carrying cocaine in his shoe. According to court records, the arrest this weekend marked Filiberto’s third arrest on DUI charges. He was locked up in the Brevard County Jail, before posting bond and then being released.
