Weekend Launch Success

Despite some concerns about strong winds at liftoff, a SpaceX Falcon 9 launched early Sunday morning from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, taking another 55 Starlink satellites into orbit. The rocket lifted off just after midnight, at 12:10am Sunday from Launch Complex 40, after a slight delay from the originally planned liftoff time of 11:42PM Saturday. SpaceX did not give a specific reason for delaying the launch. Minutes after liftoff, the Falcon 9’s first-stage booster returned to making that particular rocket’s 12th successful landing so far.
