What so far is believed to have been an accidental shooting Thursday in Brevard County, remains under investigation this morning. According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, it happened yesterday across the street from Merritt Island High School. They say one man was taken to the hospital with what were said to be non-life-threatening injuries. No one at the nearby high school was involved, and nobody else was hurt. The man’s name has not been released, and his condition has not been updated. No other details have been released, as the investigation is ongoing.
