A man from St. Cloud was sentenced on Monday, to 15 years in federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine. 46 year old James Mirabal pleaded guilty in December to a “cocaine conspiracy” after his arrest that took place when 50 kilograms of cocaine were seized last April which were linked to Mirabal and his conspirators. Mirabal later arranged for the delivery of 20 kilograms to one of his conspirators, Johnathan Beharry. The drugs were seized when Beharry was arrested last October. When he was arrested on October 31st of last year, he was found with 24 cellphones and $124,598 in cash. Beharry was sentenced to nine years in prison on February 14th.
