A Melbourne man is now behind bars after being accused of causing the injury of a friend in a DUI crash, and then selling that friend’s power tools to a pawn shop. Melbourne Police say it all began back in December 2020, when 60 year old Leslie Varner was driving two friends in his pickup truck, and he failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle on Eau Gallie Boulevard.
