Emergency Highway Landing – No Injuries

A small plane had to make an emergency landing in Orange County Tuesday morning, and the pilot put the single engine Piper down in the median of Highway 50. Nobody in the plane or on the ground was hurt. It happened near the town of Christmas. The pilot was said to be headed west from Brevard County toward Orlando when it happened. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating to try to figure out what forced the pilot to land along the highway.
