Geneva Man Facing Charges After Driving Maserati Onto Cocoa Beach While Drunk

A Maserati can cost as much as $100,000 or more depending upon the model. Maseratis are not typically considered beach vehicles, but that’s exactly what one Maserati turned into… sort of anyway… on Cocoa Beach. It was found trapped in the sands near the Brevard County Ocean Rescue lifeguard tower at Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach after the driver tried to flee from police. That driver… 37-year-old Jeremy Goldman of Geneva, Florida, was arrested. He faces charges including driving under the influence and fleeing and eluding. There were no passengers. Police first spotted the car around 1:20am as it sped at more than 90 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone along Orlando Avenue in Cocoa Beach, before it veered onto the beach access and got stuck in the sand.
