Port officials said Tuesday, that several cargo ships carrying lumber are remining offshore until the impact of the storm passes. Yesterday at noon, Port Canaveral was set at “Port Condition Yankee” by the US Coast Guard. That means sustained gale-force winds of at least 39 mph had been predicted within 24 hours.
