Another SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket… if plans hold anyway… will liftoff from the Space Coast this afternoon. Today’s launch will produce some loud sonic booms when the booster returns to Cape Canaveral. Liftoff is scheduled this afternoon between 2:25 and 3:24 from Launch Complex 40. The first stage will attempt another successful landing at Landing Zone 1… causing the sonic booms as it does so. Teh Falcon 9 will fly toward the southeast and skirt the coast. This morning, forecasters with the Space Force are giving today’s planned launch an 80% “go”.
