Florida City Gas To Have New Ownership

A company based in Delaware has announced plans to acquire Florida City Gas in a deal worth $923 million. Florida City Gas serves Brevard, and 7 other Florida counties. Soon, it will be owned by Chesapeake Utilities, which says it has reached a deal with NextEra Energy… the parent company of Florida Power & Light. The $923 million cash deal is expected to close by the end of this year.
