A Titusville pharmacist has admitted to having a part in an opioid distribution operation. Itani Family Pharmacy on Garden Street in Titusville was raided by federal agents earlier this year. On Thursday, the pharmacy’s owner… 46 year old Basil Itanis… pleaded guilty to illegally distributing controlled substances, including oxycodone and methadone. According to investigators, the case stems from the purchase by a confidential source, of narcotics from Itani after hours on at least nine separate occasions. When sentenced, he could now face up to 20 years in federal prison.
