Tropics Active But Not Threatening Florida

We’re now pretty well past the historical high peak of Hurricane Season, but the season itself runs until November 30th, so we’re not out of the woods so to speak yet. Today, the National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Philippe, which is located several hundred miles east of the northern Leeward Islands, and on newly formed Tropical Storm Rina, which is now over the tropical central Atlantic. While both storms are expected to bring some rain to Puerto Rico, forecasters say they won’t have a direct impact on Florida.
