SpaceX Planning A Double Header Tonight

SpaceX has confirmed that 8:07PM today is the target time for the launch a triple-core Falcon Heavy rocket which will carry the Space Force’s X-37B un-crewed space plane into orbit. The launch of the super secret so-called “mini shuttle” will mean some loud sonic booms here on the Space Coast when the Falcon Heavy’s 2 side boosters return for landings at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Then, another launch window will open tonight at 11 for a Falcon 9 rocket which will be carrying more Starlink internet satellites. That launch window will extend to 3:23AM Friday. Forecasters say the weather this evening should not be a problem for either of tonight’s planned launches.
