Florida Tax Holiday Begins 2-Week Run On Monday

Florida’s sales tax holiday kicks off on New Year’s Day and runs for two weeks, ending on Sunday, January 14th. It means tax will not be collected on the retail sale of things like $100 or less of clothing, footwear, and accessories. No tax on $50 or less worth of school supplies, and on $30 or less of learning aids and jigsaw puzzles. The tax break also means no tax on personal computers and some computer related accessories costing $1,500 or less as long as they are for noncommercial home or personal use.
