While much of Central Florida was pummeled yesterday by a fast moving front that brought heavy rain, high winds, thunderstorms, and even tornado watches and warnings, we here in Brevard got off relatively easy. Most of the more damaging weather stayed to our north and west. A complete ground stop was issued for Orlando International Airport due to the severe weather. Brevard County was under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8pm and a tornado watch until 9 last night. There are no reports of any major damage or injuries along the Space Coast so far this morning.
