Maybe they should think about turning the whole project over to SpaceX. SpaceX seems to have little problem meeting schedules and successfully sending up rockets. Meanwhile, NASA now has delayed the Artemis II crewed mission to the moon again… pushing it back now to no sooner than September 2025. The latest delay for an American return to the moon according to NASA engineers, is the need to study an unexpected loss of charred material from the Orion capsule’s heat shield from Artemis I. Originally, Artemis II was scheduled to take astronauts to the moon this November… although no actual landing was scheduled for this mission..
