The state attorney’s office is moving forward with seeking the death penalty for a 26-year-old Palm Bay man accused of fatally shooting his mother, sister, and grandfather in January. Ta’Shawn Taylor, already indicted on three counts of first-degree premeditated murder, now faces additional charges for the shootings of his nephew and another family member. The case is proceeding with a mental evaluation ordered by the judge. Kamauri Curry, the 15-year-old wounded in the attack, is recovering but faces extensive physical therapy.
