A 35 year old pregnant woman aboard a Disney cruise ship was airlifted to shore due to health complications. The United States Coast Guard launched a medevac operation from Miami to assist the passenger, who was 180 miles northwest of Puerto Rico on the Disney Fantasy. A Jayhawk helicopter crew deployed a rescue swimmer and hoisted the woman and ship’s doctor onto the aircraft. She was then transported to a hospital in San Juan. The woman’s condition remains undisclosed.
