In Cocoa Beach, police are praising the quick actions of victims who thwarted an attempted carjacking. Two juveniles were arrested after one suspect entered a vehicle and tried to drive off while the victims were busy at the trunk. Despite sustaining injuries, the victims successfully defended their vehicle and property. The suspects’ identities are being withheld due to their age. Anyone with information is now asked to contact the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
