In Osceola County, Joanne Zephir is facing charges after being accused of fatally poisoning her three-year-old child with bleach. Zephir will now potentially face the death penalty. The State Attorney’s Office for Orange and Osceola Counties filed a notice seeking the death penalty against Zephir, accused of the horrific crime that was committed in 2022. Zephir’s case is scheduled for trial in mid-July.
