Two people have been arrested in Brevard County for animal abuse. The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office reports that Curtis Leonard Shipley and Dixie Ethel Weeks were arrested after deputies discovered four dogs in grave condition at their home. The dogs were found infested with fleas, they were emaciated, and they were suffering from severe hair loss. The case came to light when construction workers alerted authorities. The two were taken into custody and are now facing serious charges. Their bond has been set at $38,000 each.
