Starliner Crew Arriving At KSC Today Ahead Of May 6 Launch

Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are scheduled to arrive at Kennedy Space Center around 1PM today to prepare for their upcoming mission aboard Boeing’s Starliner capsule. The mission, part of the Boeing Crew Flight Test, aims to lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on May 6. Despite delays due to technical issues, the flight will be crucial in certifying Starliner for future commercial missions to the International Space Station, similar to SpaceX’s Dragon capsule. NASA and Boeing officials will conduct a flight readiness review teleconference this evening to discuss mission preparations.
