A rather bizarre theft turned heads as deputies from the Glades County Sheriff’s Office uncovered a stolen boat and a suspect in disguise. 33-year-old Joshua Kolotka allegedly stole the boat and attempted to evade capture by dressing as a woman, sporting a blonde wig, blue dress, and sunglasses. Deputies, however, saw through the disguise and arrested Kolotka on two warrants from Okeechobee County, along with charges for the stolen boat and a John Deere Gator utility vehicle. Additional stolen items were found, and that resulted in the Seminole Police Department being brought in for further investigation. Kolotka remains in custody without bond.
