New Smyrna Beach police and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office are offering a $10,000 reward after more than $100,000 in damage to the second green at The Club at Venetian Bay. Officers say a truck was seen doing “donuts” on the course early Sunday, tearing up about 7,000 square feet of turf. Surveillance footage has been collected, and residents with cameras facing the course are asked to submit tips or video. Officials say felony criminal mischief charges are expected once a suspect is identified, though golf operations continue as normal.
