More Than 600,000 Signatures Submitted for Florida Recreational Marijuana Amendment
Backers of a proposed constitutional amendment to legalize recreational marijuana in Florida have submitted over 600,000 petition signatures, aiming to get the measure on the 2026 ballot. The Smart & Safe Florida political committee needs at least 880,062 valid signatures statewide to qualify.
