Osceola County Expands Red Light Camera Program
Osceola County officials will add several new red-light cameras at busy intersections. The expansion aims to deter speeding and red-light running while generating revenue. Existing cameras have produced about $511,000 in ticketing revenue, with half going to the state and the rest staying in the county. The new cameras will be operational by year’s end.
