Palm Bay High Student Arrested After Attempting to Bring Gun On Campus

A 17 year old Palm Bay student was arrested Friday morning after a loaded 9mm handgun was detected at the school’s security checkpoint. Melbourne police charged the teen with possession of a firearm on school grounds and possession by a minor. Nobody was hurt, and the student did not make it past the front office.
