Melbourne Accepting Applications for Hometown Heroes Military Banner Program

The City of Melbourne is accepting applications through January 24 for the “Melbourne Salutes Hometown Heroes” military banner program. Banners honoring veterans and active-duty service members will be displayed along New Haven Avenue from May 1 to July 4th. Applicants must be current residents or immediate family of residents and provide proof of military service.

Convicted Felon Arrested Armed With Meth at Brevard Construction Site

Brevard County Deputies arrested David Harvey after finding him at a construction site with a .22 caliber rifle, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
