A 71-year-old Satellite Beach man died after being struck by a Jeep on State Road A1A. Florida Highway Patrol says the bicyclist crossed into the southbound Jeep’s path near Berkeley Street around 6 last Thursday evening. He was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, where he was pronounced dead. The 61-year-old Jeep driver from Indian Harbor Beach was unharmed.
