Melbourne police are investigating a crash that killed 74 year old Neil Goodwin. It happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Sarno Road and Apollo Boulevard. Goodwin was riding a motorized scooter north on Apollo when he attempted a left turn onto Sarno and was struck by a Toyota driven by 88 year old Pamela Court, who was making a right turn onto Sarno. Goodwin was taken to a local hospital but later died from his injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call Melbourne Police.
