On Monday, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that tolls along Florida’s west coast would be suspended as Hurricane Idalia is projected to make landfall. The Florida Department of Transportation and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise suspended toll collection at 4am today, and the suspension will last seven days. It will be reinstated on Tuesday, September 5 at noon.
