Digging in South Patrick Shores
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has begun digging in yards in South Patrick Shores, searching for buried military waste. The area, once used as an uncontrolled dump during World War II, is now tied to cancer concerns. Crews will excavate trenches up to eight feet deep to check for contaminants.
