The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to step up enforcement on Interstate 95 after multiple deadly holiday crashes. Deputies issued 112 tickets Tuesday, and almost a hundred more on Wednesday as part of the “This Is the Only Warning You’re Getting” initiative. Sheriff Wayne Ivey identified the stretch from Eau Gallie to Wickham Road as the most dangerous and warned drivers the crackdown isn’t temporary, saying deputies plan to maintain the heightened patrols indefinitely.
