The Titusville Police and Fire Departments are asking the community to help bring Valentine’s Day cheer to seniors in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Residents can donate new comfort and activity items such as lap blankets, non-slip socks, puzzles, and coloring books. Drop offs are being accepted at police headquarters on John Glenn Boulevard and Fire Station 11 on South Washington Avenue during business hours. After-hours pickup is available by calling 321-264-7800. Donations will be delivered to facilities February 12 to ensure seniors feel remembered and appreciated.
