Two people were arrested after they tried to rip off about $3,300 worth of merchandise from the Sebastian Walmart. 66 year old Ricardo Guerra and 30 year old Rachel Rooney… both of Fort Lauderdale… were taken into custody after a Walmart asset protection agent noticed a missing Apple TV from a shelf, and then reviewed video surveillance showing the two stealing it and other items adding up to $3,296 while they were in the store for 2 hours on Sunday, by simply pushing a shopping cart out the door not only once, but repeating it several times. Guerra was charged with grand theft and shoplifting. He is being held by Immigration & Customs. Rooney was also charged with grand theft and is being held without bond at the Indian River County Jail.
