A former Brevard County school principal has avoided jail after pleading no contest to three misdemeanors tied to a teen house party. Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan entered the plea in Brevard County court, resolving charges of hosting an open house party with underage drinking and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors. Investigators say the January 19, 2025 gathering at her home in Cocoa Beach drew about 100 teens, with alcohol and marijuana reported on scene. One teen was treated for alcohol poisoning, and another was arrested for DUI. Under the agreement, Hill-Brodigan receives two years of supervised probation, must avoid unsupervised contact with minors, and is barred from hosting parties where alcohol or marijuana are present with anyone under 21. Also arrested in the case, teacher Karly Anderson was convicted on separate charges and is appealing.
