The Titusville mall has built a dirt and gravel barricade to block what management says is decades of fuel contamination from a neighboring gas station. The barrier was installed between the mall property and Cumberland Farms after the mall’s general manager said repeated complaints over leaks went unanswered. Mall officials say the contamination has stalled plans for a new mixed-use development approved by the city in 2022.
