A 57 year old former Lake Mary High School teacher and soccer coach is headed to prison for more than 27 years after admitting to a sexual relationship with a student. Richard C. Colon was convicted of three counts of sexual battery on a child and possession of child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors say the abuse began when the girl was 15 and continued for nearly two years. A judge rejected a request for a lighter sentence, calling it a serious breach of trust.
