A 15 year old Flagler County teen is now charged as an adult in a violent kidnapping case involving an 11 year old boy. Deputies say Junior Bishop helped lure the child to a wooded campsite, where 60 year old registered sex offender Darnell Hairston allegedly choked him, tied him up, and held him for days. Authorities say Bishop later led deputies on a chase, nearly hitting an officer before crashing into a patrol car. Investigators say both suspects played a role in terrorizing the victim, who was eventually rescued during a traffic stop.

He was one of just 12 broadcasters nationwide chosen to participate in discussions and provide input during the design and rollout of Google’s digital broadcast automation platform. Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
