Another rocket launch is set to take place tomorrow from here on Florida’s Space Coast. SpaceX plans to launch… for the first time in about three years… a Falcon Heavy rocket carrying several payloads for the US Space Force, tomorrow morning at 9:40 from launch pad 39A a the Kennedy Space Center. Two of the three massive first stage rockets will return to attempt landings a Cape Canaveral’s Landing Zones 1 and 2… meaning some loud sonic booms up and down the coast. Tomorrow’s planned flight will mark just the fourth Falcon Heavy mission from the Space Coast. Meanwhile, NASA continues to prepare for another attempt to launch the huge Artemis I SLS rocket. The next launch opportunity comes on November 14th at 12:07am from launch pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center. The rocket will be the largest ever launched, and will take an uncrewed Orion capsule to the moon and back in preparation for eventually sending astronauts on an upcoming mission. A landing on the moon is tentatively set for Artemis III.
