The National Weather Service says more strong, severe storms can be expected later today across much of Central Florida. Forecasters say this afternoon and evening, strong and severe storms may impact us between about 2 and 8pm, and today’s severe weather risk is a bit higher than it was on Tuesday. While the threat of any tornados is expected to be very low, and the threat of severe lightning is not expected to be extremely high, the main threat this afternoon will be wind and hail. Yesterday, baseball size hail was reported in some parts of Central Florida.
