SpaceX plans to launch a massive 3-core Falcon Heavy rocket later today from the Kennedy Space Center, but the weather may force a change in that plan. With more but much needed rain expected to continue through pretty much the rest of this week, weather conditions for the hour long launch window that opens at 7:24pm could be iffy. In fact, forecasters with the Space Force this morning only give today’s launch attempt from historic pad 39A a 60% chance because of the weather. And if it can’t launch today, weather conditions for the backup launch window tomorrow look pretty much the same.
